Susan Boyle Opens Up About Being Famous
According to reports, Susan Boyle called her quick rise to stardom a "demolition ball." Boyle is the British singer who won over audiences around the world with her performances on "Britain's Got Talent."
On her first television interview, which is set to air Wednesday on the "Today" show, she told "Today" anchor Meredith Vieira, "Anyone who has that kind of impact - finds it really hard to get a head around it."
She went on to tell the host, "I've got to be honest here. I guess I had to get my head around it, but through the guidance of a great time, and they were very good, I was able to see that in perspective and really turn that around a little."
When Boyle performed on the teleivsion talent show, her performance of "I Dreamed a Dream" got the attention of 275 million video views on the Web, making her an overnight global star.
Boyle is currently working on an upcoming album being produced by Simon Cowell, who is also the creator of "Britain's Got Talent," which is a spin-off of "America's Got Talent."
