Taylor Armstrong from the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills received two frightening death threats via Twitter.
The reality star was threatened by an anonymous user that went by @Hardboiledpeggs.
According to Radar Online, the first tweet read, "see u on February 7 ill be there with a book and a rope so i can kidnap u."
That is the day Armstrong has a book signing in New Jersey.
After reading this, Armstrong responded by saying, "Don't ever contact me again."
This prompted a second threat targeted at Armstrong's five-year-old daughter. "Turn around bright eyes every now and then, Kennedy's dead," the anonymous user wrote.
Armstrong responded again, "Don't ever contact me again." She has since contacted the FBI.
"These were credible serious threats against Taylor and her daughter, Kennedy. The tweets that were sent to Taylor have been turned over to the FBI. Taylor absolutely freaked out when she read the death threats," a law enforcement official told Radar Online.
The Twitter account that made these threats has been deleted. Armstrong's followers, however, have been tweeting about the incident.
Security will be heightened at the signing of Armstrong's autobiography, Hiding from Reality: My Story of Love, Loss, and Finding the Courage Within, as she still plans to appear. This new memoir gives details of domestic abuse Armstrong endured at the hands of her husband, Russell Armstrong, who committed suicide last summer due to financial hardships. She speaks of the violent beatings, name calling, and spying that took place.
Armstrong is currently an advocate for domestic abuse and volunteers for a family crisis center.
