Taylor Lautner Jokes About Relationship With Taylor Swift on SNL

Taylor Lautner, who plays werewolf Jacob from “Twilight,” showed his fans his funny side when he hosted last nights episode of Saturday Night Live. Lautner opened the show with a monologue poking fun at his rumored relationship with country star Taylor Swift. Lautner faced these rumors head on. At first Lautner joked about being romantically linked to Reba—then the camera cut to a shot of Kenan Thompson dressed up as Reba McEntire. “I’ve also become close with a singer named Taylor Swift,” Lautner joked.

Then Lautner said something that surprised most of the audience, it just so happens that he was not only at the Video Music Awards when Kanye West so famously interrupted Swift, he was in fact on stage at the exact time the incident took place. “I guess I could have done a little more,” Lautner said as the crew of SNL brought out two mannequins—one of Taylor Swift and one of Kanye West.

Lautner ripped off his jacket, did a back flip, and then wowed the audience with his martial arts moves. “You messed with the wrong Taylors,” he said before kicking off Kanye’s cardboard head. After defending Swift’s honor, he goes to kiss the cardboard country singer, but stopping just before, saying “I’m sorry, I can’t. My heart belongs to someone else,” and the camera once again cuts to Thompson dressed up as Reba.

Rumors about Swift and Lautner being a couple have been going around for a while, and neither of them have confirmed nor denied it.
