Taylor Lautner: Thankful for All the Fans

Taylor Lautner said he hopes Robert Pattinson fans won't "hate on me too much."

Taylor Lautner spoke to E! Online about how he is hoping that Robert Pattinson fans will embrace his character, Jacob Black, as much as Edward Cullen in the upcoming "Twilight" movie, New Moon.

Laurent revealed that the movie will follow Stephenie Meyer's book closely. This means fans can expect to see Jacob and Bella's characters building a stronger relationship and hostility between Edward and Jacob.

He said he was "getting a little nervous" about the reactions fans will have, but assured that he was "thankful" for all the fans. "Don't hate on me too much, I love you guys," Lautner said. He acknowledged the work Pattinson put into playing his character and said Pattinson deserved the attention because "he did an amazing job at portraying Edward."
