Taylor Swift Talks Love and Crushes

When listening to a Taylor Swift song, one would think she always had a grip on guys and love. However, she is quick to admit she wasn't like that growing up.

Swift reveals in the issue of Your Prom magazine, for which she graces the cover, that, "I was 15 and the oldest out of all my friends to have not kissed a guy."

She says that being a late bloomer didn't stop her from writing about love and that she "likes to write about boys and relationships."

Swift thinks that songwriting helps her out when faced with dating issues and the process of writing is cathartic.

"I write songs about the things that happen to me, because it helps me figure them out," she said, "Writing is like breathing for me."

Swift's relationship with Joe of the Jonas Brothers was always in the tabloids. But now that that's over, she can focus on someone new. The singer admits that her celebrity dream date would be with Chace Crawford from Gossip Girl.
