Tea Leoni Skips on Toronto
Access Hollywood reports that Tea Leoni, wife of David Duchovny, has made the decision to cancel her appearance at the Toronto International Film Festival.
That may prove to be a brave move as the trip was reportedly for Leoni to be at the premiere of her upcoming film, Ghost Town.
This may have everything to do with Californication star Duchovny's recent announcement to Access Hollywood saying, "I have voluntarily entered a facility for the treatment of sex addiction. I ask for respect and privacy for my wife and children as we deal with this situation as a family."
It's tough times indeed for the couple that has been married since 1997 and have two young children together: Madelaine West, 9, and son Kyd, 6.
At least the couple has gotten well wishes from Showtime, as a representative said, "All of us at Showtime wish David and his family the best during this very private time."
The network will also continue with plans to run the second season of Californication starting September 28.
