Teen Choice Awards: Those Who Won Didn't Surprise
The vampire mania continues with "Twilight" winning 11 Teen Choice Awards including Choice Movie Drama and also soundtrack, according to MSNBC. The Teen Choice Awards, which aired Monday night on FOX, honors those on television, films, music, and also sports. With 83 million votes cast online, those who had the most votes won a Teen Choice Award.
Miley Cyrus won six Teen Choice Awards. She won for comedy TV show and being an actress on the TV show, "Hannah Montana." She also won an award for "The Climb" and "Before the Storm" with the Jonas Brothers. Although Cyrus was honored numerous times, she also honored pop diva Britney Spears with the "Ultimate Choice Award." "I'm a huge fans of hers," said Cyrus before giving Britney Spears her award.
Although "Twilight" and Miley Cyrus won awards, the Jonas Brothers won five awards, "Gossip Girl" received an award and Zac Efron received an award for music/dance movie actor in "High School Musical 3" and comedy movie actor and rockstar moment in "17 Again."
