Teen Mamas, Spears and Palin, Stick Together
Jamie Lynn Spears reached out to 17-year-old mom-to-be Bristol Palin, showing her that she isn't alone in the teen mom world, according to NYDailyNews.com.
Bristol is the daughter of John McCain's vice presidential pick, Sarah Palin. Palin announced on Monday, through the McCain campaign, that her unmarried daughter is five-months pregnant. The Palins wrote that their daughter has their "unconditional love and support" and requested the media to respect their daughter, according to EFluxMedia.com.
NYDailyNews.com reported that Jamie Lynn sent Bristol a $60 care package of fancy burp cloths. Sent in a mini pink suitcase, the set of five cloths were embroidered with "Babe," "Loved," "Yummy," "Fresh" and an image of skull and bones.
"She wanted it in pink. I'm assuming the two have spoken, and she knows it's a girl," a spokesman for Petit Tresor, the West Hollywood shop that took the order told the Daily News.
Along with the gift came a note from Jamie Lynn, "Dear Bristol: Hang in there!!!!! XXOO," the Daily News reported.
Jamie Lynn gave birth to daughter Maddie Briann in June.
