Amber Portwood pled guilty to battery and drug possession charges and may forgo a jail sentence after striking a plea deal with the judge. However, she will still be required to attend a drug rehabilitation program.

Portword was arrested December 19 after failing to provide a urine sample to her probation officer and was ordered to stay in jail until January 27 after having two more felonies added to her rap sheet, MSNCB reports.

According to TMZ and their sources, if all goes well, she will avoid any jail time, but will be required to plead guilty to one count of possession of a controlled substance

Upon her dismissal from the Madison County Drug Court program, however one slip up and she will find herself back in jail.

A hearing is scheduled for February 6 in front of the judge to see if they will agree to the plea. Until then, she will stay in custody.

The majority of the mother of one’s trouble began after MTV aired an episode of Portwood physically assaulting the father of her child, Gary Shirley. She was seen punching and slapping him in front of her child, Leah.

Last June, she pled guilty to two counts of felony domestic violence and was slapped with a two-year suspended sentence and place on two years of probation.

Hope all goes according to plan for her and she will get her life back on track!
