Teresa Guidice Wants a Pay Raise

Housewife says won't return to show if her pay is not doubled.

Of all of Bravo’s Housewives, those featured in The Real Housewives of New Jersey have provided some of the most exciting moments on television. In their past two seasons, there have been more catfights, hair pulling, police involvement, and trash talk than any of the other Housewives shows. In one of the last episodes, host Andy Cohen got physically shoved for the first time in Housewives history. In return for all this drama, the housewives are asking for more money.

According to TMZ, housewife Teresa Guidice has decided she won’t be returning to the reality show next season if her salary isn’t doubled. She would also like a portion of the DVD and merchandise sales, among other things. Apparently, other cast members would also like a pay raise, but Guidice is “the most adamant” about it.

Sources say Guidice would like to be paid a salary more similar to that of the Jersey Shore cast members, who make around $30k per episode.

Guidice is best known on the show for her conflicts with cast mate Danielle Staub and her excessive spending. During part one of the show’s season finale, Guidice shoved host Cohen as he tried to hold her back from Staub.

Season three of The Real Housewives of New Jersey is supposed to start filming this Friday, Sept. 3.
