Terrell Owens Absent From Tuesday Morning Practice
Buffalo Bills' wide receiver Terrell Owens was absent from the team's Tuesday morning walk-through practice due to an alleged toe injury he may have suffered from Sunday's Hall of Fame game, reports The Buffalo News.
According to USA Today, Owens, who had two catches for 27 yards in Sunday's game told his followers on Twitter that his toe was bothering him following the game.
"Damn, my toe is aching!" The Bills' receiver tweeted Sunday.
Dick Jauron, Buffalo Bills' coach, refused to comment after Tuesday's practice, but did confirm that Owens was excused from the morning's walk-through, says The Buffalo News.
"He's been excused," said Jauron. "I'll address it further tonight," says the Bills' coach on the teams website, buffalobills.com
According to the website, the team has a practice scheduled for 7:10 p.m. Tuesday night.
It is expected that Jauron will clarify why Owens was absent for the team's morning workout.
No word has been said on whether Owens will be excused from Buffalo's evening practice.
