Terrell Owens to Star in Sitcom Alongside Flavor Flav

Dallas Cowboys superstar wide receiver Terrell Owens is coming to prime time . . . as an actor.

Owens will make his sitcom debut acting in the pilot of the MyNetworkTV show, Under One Roof, as the long-lost sibling of the star of the show, Flavor Flav. Owens's role consists of his return and attempt at convincing Flav's character and Kelly Perine that he is indeed their brother.

This is all done in the attempt to have his siblings invest in Owens's Web site.

"I see dollar signs," Owens told the Associated Press in an interview regarding his character. "I'm trying to kind of smooth my way into the family, but Flav is not buying it. It's a lot of funny dialogue. It was a good time."

From the interview, Owens also admits that he might be interested in acting after his days in the NFL are over.

"If I'm going to really consider doing acting after football, this is a great start to let me get my feet wet," the Cowboys star said. "For an actor trying to become an A-lister, I think I'm on the bottom of the pile. I'm a D-Lister."
