Things Get Heated at Press Conference for Floyd Mayweather and Shane Mosley

Boxers instigate a fight with each other.

Ill tempered Floyd “Money” Mayweather attempted to start a fight with fellow boxer “Sugar-Shane” Mosley on March 2 in a NYC press conference.

The announcer excited the press by introducing him as the boxer with “40 wins with 25 knockouts, a sixth time world champion…universally recognized as the number one superstar attraction in boxing today.”

The two walk toward each other until they were nose to nose. What seemed to be a fun rivalry at first quickly turns into a shoving match. Unknown words are exchanged. Mayweather then pushed Mosely.

This highly anticipated boxing match will be held on Saturday, May 1 at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, and can be seen live on HBO pay per view.

Mayweather, who is an Olympic Bronze Medalist comes from a family of boxers. According to www.boxrec.com, the Nevada native is trained by his uncle Roger Mayweather who was a world champ in two different weight classes. In May 2007, Floyd announced his retirement, but decided to returned to the sport in July 2009 to fight Juan Manuel Marquez.
