A Third "Batman"?
According to Reuters, Actor Gary Oldman, who played Commissioner Gordon in "Batman Begins" and "The Dark Knight," indicated that a new Batman movie will begin filming next year.
The actor was promoting the thriller, "The Book of Eli," at the Comic-Con convention in San Diego when he was asked about plans for a third movie in director Christopher Nolan's popular series.
"We start filming the next 'Batman' next year, which means it won't come out for another two years, but you didn't hear that from me," Oldman said.
No details about a third movie have been announced previously and Warner Bros. declined to comment on the matter.
According to the Los Angeles Times, Oldman has previously spilled the beans about an upcoming "Batman" film. While promoting "The Dark Knight," he was quoted as saying, "Maybe we don't need the Joker. Because we'll have the Riddler."
Director Nolan is currently filming "Inception," another Waner Bros. film, starring Leonardo DiCaprio and Ellen Page.
