The winning seems to continue on even after the X Factor results have been announced and Melanie Amaro took home the top prize. Simon Cowell confirmed that three more contestants from the X Factor reality show will receive recording contracts with Sony Records.
Perez Hilton reported that Chris Rene, Josh Krajcik and Astro will be receive recording contracts starting in 2012.
Chris Rene is already set to drop a single "Young Homie" in January. No word yet on what direction the other artists will be going in with their first records. Astro is already set to perform on some upcoming singles. In addition, singles are expected from Krajcik and Astro sometime in 2012. X Factor winner, Melanie Amaro, will also start working on her new album.
Cowell did say that even though his main focus is still on X Factor winner, Melanie Amaro, he couldn't let these three male performers leave with nothing. Cowell said if he did not offer these performers contracts, someone else would have and he couldn't let that happen.
Hollywood Life reported that Amaro will starting shooting her new Pepsi commercial before it airs during the Super Bowl. Many other X Factor contestants such as Rachel Crow, are being offered deals from a variety of outlets. The rest of the X Factor finalists spent the holidays with their families. The 2012 music charts are destined to be filled with X Factor contestants.
