A "Thriller" Flashback

Thriller girl brings back memories

She was the girl every girl wanted to play and the girl every guy just wanted.

In 1982, Ola Ray, 22, was the lucky girl to play Michael's love interest in the 14-minute video for "Thriller."

Talks about "Thriller" turning Broadway musical and the lawsuit between Michael Jackson and John Landis, in which Landis claims Jackson owes him 50 percent of profits generated from all "Thriller" projects, has brought back many memories.

Ray, now 48, says it was the role of a lifetime. The Daily News reports the now stay-at-home mom made very little from the video and playfully regrets not demanding more, but has since cherished the piece of history granted to her.

Just three years earlier, she had graced the cover of Playboy and snagged a couple of small roles in movies like "Body and Soul" and "The Man Who Loved Women."

When asked about Michael: Ray told UK's Sunday Mirror, "He was cute, but childlike."
