Sad news for a baseball legend! Minnesota Twins legend Harmon Killebrew has been diagnosed with esophageal cancer. Killebrew, who was inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1984, acknowledged the serious condition of his illness, but wanted to be optimistic about his long-term prognosis. Some of his accomplishments include that he was a 13-time All-Star, MLB's Most Valuable Player in 1969, and a Lou Gehrig Memorial Award winner in 1971. (Sportsrageous.com).
