Tiger Is a Poor Sport Over PETA Billboard

Tiger Woods' lawyers have filed a suit against PETA

Tiger Woods is not amused by the billboard proposed by People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA), and his lawyers have filed a suit against the organization.

PETA had planned on poking fun at Woods’ sex scandal by erecting billboards with an image of Woods that said, “Too much sex can be a bad thing…for little tigers too. Help keep your cats (and dogs) out of trouble: Always spay or neuter!”

The organization says the advertisement is not intended to insult Woods but to prevent millions of cats and dogs from being euthanized every year.

PETA said: “It’s a fun, tongue-in-cheek approach. We hope these billboard companies will understand.

“The world has been transfixed on Tiger’s life after Thanksgiving. We’re putting the focus where it needs to be. We’re sure Tiger will appreciate our attempt—from a story that’s distracted the world and followed Tiger—to turn it into something positive for little tigers.”

It doesn’t seem like Woods appreciates their attempt.

The advertisement campaign has been stalled, and PETA said in a statement: “In light of conversations we have had with Mr. Woods’ attorneys, plans to run our billboard are on hold at this time.”
