Tiger Woods Back at Home
Tiger Woods is finally back in his home near Orlando after family counseling in Arizona. Woods, 34, spent a week with his wife, Elin, working on issues and spending time away from the public eye.
Woods publicly apologized in February during a press conference, admitting his failures and regret of hurting his wife and children.
The news of Woods’ extramarital affairs began in November 2009 when he crashed his car into a tree after fighting with Elin about her suspicion of an affair.
During his five-year marriage, Woods admits that he was involved in numerous infidelities. In December, Woods announced his departure from golf to recover from his sex scandal.
Woods told The Associated Press:
"As Elin pointed out to me, my real apology to her will not come in the form of words; it will come from my behavior over time. We have a lot to discuss; however, what we say to each other will remain between the two of us."
Woods has already been dropped by Accenture, AT&T, and Gatorade. Gillette has suspended promotions featuring the golfer until he returns to the sport.
The professional golfer is getting back into the swing of things by hitting golf balls and returning to his fitness routine.
