Tiger Woods Pays Wife Millions to Forgive Him

Woods pays Elin $150 million

As Tiger Woods slowly rebuilds his public image, family, and relationship with his former sponsors, the golfer also plans on paying his wife, Elin Nordegren, $150 million as a "forgive me" gift.

The Times of India reports that he will even give her $150 million in two years if they are still married. This deal was reportedly negotiated by Nordegren's sister, Josefin Lonnborg, who is a high-powered corporate attorney.

While Woods knows that this plan may not work and that Nordegren may still divorce him, he is desperate to try. He also promises to his wife that he will never stray again. Woods will also be continuing sex addiction therapy.

While Woods may not be off the hook yet, the cash gift may be enticing for Nordegren, as she stays civil and family-oriented for sponsors and her husband's image.

Woods announced this week that he will return to play at The Masters, a prestigious golf tournament held in Augusta, Georgia.
