Tila Tequila Files Lawsuit Against Chargers Linebacker

Tila Tequila filed a lawsuit against ex-boyfriend alleging abuse, reported TMZ.

Tequila filed a suit on Tuesday against Chargers linebacker Shawne Merriman for assault, battery, false imprisonment and emotional distress.

Tequila claims Merriman shook her, threw her to the floor and chocked her during an argument in September. In September the San Diego District Attorney dismissed the accusations Tequila made against the linebacker.

The civil lawsuit alleges that Merriman had a drug problem combined with a bad temper and he humiliated her for being bi-sexual.

Tequila's lawyer, Cyrus Nownejad, included pictures showing the bruises on her arms allegedly from Merriman's abuse.

Merriman, who was suspended from the NFL for violation of the performance-enhancing substances policy, denied all claims regarding assaulting Tequila. He also added Tequila appeared intoxicated and he was attempting to keep her from harming herself outside.

Tequila, whose real name is Tila Nguyen, is known for her television show which ran two seasons "A Shot of Love with Tila Tequila."
