Tilly Wipes the Table

The inexperienced poker player, Jennifer Tilly, wins earns a seat at the World Poker Tour Championship.

Jennifer Tilly has become the first winner of both the World Poker Tour Ladies Night III tournament and World Series' Ladies World Poker Championship.

Tilly, an amateur, who only started playing poker a year ago said her win at the Bicycle Casino Thursday proved her World Series win in June was "no fluke." "I felt like I was suffering from the 'imposter syndrome,'" Tilly said in a news release.

Even with the tough competition, her self-doubt quickly turned into confidence."My goal has always been to win a World Poker Tour event and now I've done it!'The WPT said that because of the win, Tilly received a seat in the $25,000 buy-in World Poker Tour Championship next April at Bellagio in Las Vegas.

Tilly is starring in a new CBS sitcom "Out of Practice" with Henry Winkler, due to air this fall. The WPT Ladies Night III tourney will air Oct. 22 on the Travel Channel.
