Time to Hear Rhianna's Side

Rhianna Might have to testify.

Pop star Rhianna may have to take the stand at Chris Brown's June 22 hearing according to Entertainment Weekly.

Rhianna's lawyer, Donald Etra, said the 21-year-old singer will be subpoenaed by prosecutors to appear at the hearing as reported by People.com. "The DA has advised me that she will be subpoenaed," Etra said. "She absolutely will comply."

This will be Rhianna's first court appearance since the incident occurred on February 8 reports the BBC News. If the pop singer is called to testify, she will be cross-examined by Brown's lawyer, Mark Geragos.

Twenty-year-old Brown is pleading not guilty to criminal charges of assault and making threats against ex-girlfriend Rhianna. The June hearing will determine if there is enough evidence for the case to go to trial. Brown faces up to four years in prison if convicted of the charges reports the BBC News.
