The Time Travelers Wife Now a Television Show?

The Time Travelers Wife will be made into a network television show.The creator of the television hit show Friends, Marta Kuffman, is said to be working with ABC and Warner Bros for the television adaptation of the book. The network is said to have been working on this project since before the creation of the movie but has hit a few bumps in the road with getting it started.

An issue that many critics and viewers had with the film version of The Time Travelers Wife was that it seemed as if too much was jammed into a movie that did not last over 2 hours. The television show hopes to take its time with the storyline. There will be a more detailed focus on the characters and the storyline would not be as rushed as the movie.

No word has been given yet as to who would be starring as the main characters or when the show would be set to air.
