Tina Knowles: Beyonce not pregnant

Despite “confirmation” from an unnamed source and commentary from her sister on Wednesday, Beyoncé Knowles is not actually pregnant, her mother says.

Tina Knowles announced on The Ellen DeGeneres Show that her oldest daughter and her husband, Jay-Z, are not expecting their first child.

The episode airs on Thursday, but celebrity gossip source TMZ posted a clip of Knowles being interviewed by host Ellen DeGeneres on its website Wednesday night.

“I'm here to clear the rumors up,” Knowles told DeGeneres when asked about her daughter’s possible pregnancy. “The truth is that's it's not Beyoncé that's pregnant. It's me.” After DeGeneres looked surprised, Knowles quickly laughed and said she was kidding, but that her daughter really isn’t pregnant.

Knowles is already a grandmother to daughter Solange Knowles’s son, who is six years old. Amid the pregnancy rumors on Wednesday, her younger daughter said big sis Beyoncé would make a great mother.
