Tom Brady and Gisele Sued By Photographers
Two photographers are suing football player Tom Brady and model Gisele Bundchen when their security team shot at them after their second wedding celebration in Costa Rica in April.
The photographers say they received the proper clearance to take pictures from a nearby property but one of Brady's security guard demanded the camera and memory card.
The photographers filed suit in federal court in New York Tuesday. One photographer said to TMZ he "managed to run off and escape" but the other claims he was "grabbed by the bodyguard, his arm twisted behind him and immobilized." The captured man claims five other guards joined in and refused to let him go.
Ultimately, he was allowed back into his SUV and picked up his partner but the security team demanded the photographer drive to Gisele's residence for further conversation. The men tried to drive away and that's when "the Brady/Bundchen bodyguards opened fire with pistols." The men claimed the bullets "shattered" the rear window of the SUV and "narrowly missed striking the heads" of the two photographers.
The two men are suing Tom and Gisele for negligent in the hiring and training of their bodyguards to "discharge firearms with intent to kill or wound." The two men are looking for more than $1 million in damages.
