Tom Brokaw Was Involved in Fatal Crash
Television journalist was involved in a three-car crash.
Tom Brokaw was involved in fatal car crash on Friday, reports TMZ.
The accident occurred at 1:00 p.m. on the Bruckner Expressway in New York. A total of three cars collided. The accident turned fatal when a woman was thrown from her SUV and killed.
Brokaw and his wife, Meredith, were at the far left lane when a green SUV in the right lane lost control, while trying to avoid a spool of cable along the right lane, and slid to the middle lane. A mail truck in the middle lane was then forced into the left lane where Brokaw was driving.
Brokaw hit the brakes and skit into a collision against the mail truck and the woman driving the green SUV was thrown from her vehicle and died.
Brokaw and his wife are safe since neither received injuries.
