Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes to Star in Their Own Reality Series?
Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes may end up starring in their very own reality television series. Digital Spy is reporting that Cruise has already begun filming home footage for potential use in the rumored reality series, which would reportedly focus on the celebrity couple’s home life and their parenting of their four-year-old daughter, Suri.
The actor is only willing to agree to a full series if he receives 100 percent control over the finished product. Interestingly enough, Cruise hopes that the footage will dispel rumors about how he has allegedly brainwashed Holmes due to his outspoken belief in Scientology. An unidentified source shed light on the possible show by providing details to Grazia Daily.
The source told the publication, “The original impetus was that he would select a few personal clips to show fans, but word has got out through his agents [CAA] and he is currently fielding offers from entertainment companies.” The insider also said, “They want to portray themselves as a normal family who does normal things,” which is intriguing to numerous incidents of bizarre behavior that have plagued Cruise’s image over the years.
While Cruise’s latest film, Knight and Day, was panned by critics and viewed as a disappointment at the box office, the New York City premiere for Holmes’ new project, The Extra Man, occurred on Monday night. While speaking to reporters, the actress said, “Every day my husband inspires me. My family inspires me. My daughter inspires me. We try to have a very creative household.”
