Tom Sizemore Charged With Domestic Violence

LAPD arrest actor in just his latest run-in with the law.

Tom Sizemore has been charged with domestic violence following his arrest, by the Los Angeles Police Department Wednesday night in downtown Los Angeles, according to the LAPD.

Rampart Division officers of the LAPD went to Beaudry Avenue's 100 block responding to a call about a domestic violence incident involving Sizemore. The "Black Hawk Down" star was taken into custody at approximately 9:30 p.m., Bruce Borihanh of the LAPD said. Details haven't been released; however, police said the women that Sizemore was with got physical.Sizemore, 47, was charged with misdemeanor domestic violence and spent the night in jail with bail set at $20,000.

Sizemore, who couldn't be reached for comment, has had a long history of run-ins with police. In May, Los Angeles police discovered he had an outstanding $25,000 warrant in Bakersfield for narcotics possession when they found him and a friend in possession of drugs after responding to a report of shots being fired around Carlton Avenue.

In June 2007, he was arrested for possession of methamphetamines, which violated his probation from a January 2006 drug possession charge. The incident resulted in a 16-month jail sentence.

In 2005, his attempt to pass a court-ordered drug test by using a prosthetic penis to provide a clean urine sample failed when he was caught in the act. As a result, he was forced into a two-year stint in drug rehabilitation.

In 2003, he was convicted of abusing and harassing his ex-girlfriend Heidi Fleiss.

The actor known for his portrayals of tough guys on screen, received a Golden Globe nomination for "Witness Protection," a 1999 television movie. He has also appeared in "Saving Private Ryan" and "Natural Born Killers."
