Tommy Lee Apologizes For VMA Stand Off With Kid Rock

Tommy Lee has publicly apologized to both MTV and Alicia Keys for his fight with Kid Rock at the VMAs this past Sunday. Lee claims that Kid Rock approached him at his table, during Alicia Keys' performance. Rock tapped his shoulder, and when Lee stood up, Rock punched him in the face. MTV's video of the fight shows the two arguing heatedly, but seems to miss the first punch thrown. Lee was held back by security guards, and then escorted back to his hotel room. Rock remained at the awards show, but was cited for a misdemeanor following the taping.

Lee posted a public statement on his website, which included the following: "I would like to apologize to Alicia ... and MTV for the disrespectful [interruption] caused by Kid Pebble!!" Kid Rock hasn't replied to this public apology, but either way, the two ex-husbands of Pamela Anderson won't be hanging out anytime soon.
