Tony Thompson Dies at 31
Hi-Five lead-singer found dead.
Tony Thompson, Hi-Five group's lead-singer, was found dead on June 1 outside an apartment complex in his hometown of Waco, Texas.
Singer of hits such as "I Like the Way (The Kissing Game)" and "She's Playing Hard to Get," Thompson allegedly died of drug overdose, but the cause of death has to be confirmed.
Thompson signed with Jive Records in 1990 as part of Hi-Five and released his solo debut, "Sexsational," in 1995 after Hi-Five split. He was working on new material for an upcoming album as well.
