Too Much Pressure for Tony Romo

The National Enquirer is reporting the truth behind Tony Romo and Jessica Simpson's recent split. The couple, who dated for almost two years, broke up on July 9, the night before Simpson's 29th birthday. Reportedly, the reason behind the breakup has to do with Simpson's pressure for Romo to marry her.

An insider confirmed this by telling the magazine, "Tony pulled the plug because he couldn't stand the constant heat Jessica was putting on him to get married. The final nail in the coffin was an argument they had over how to celebrate Jessica's birthday."

Supposedly, while Simpson wanted a big Ken and Barbie themed party with all her famous friends, Romo wanted a quiet dinner with just the two of them. Reportedly, Tony blew up in her face, saying, "I hate this stupid stuff and your whole fake Hollywood life!"

Yet, unfortunately all Simpson had for a birthday party was a breakup.
