Tori Spelling hospitalized for abdominal pain

Tori Spelling and Dean McDermott take Liam to Lunch!

Tori Spelling was rushed to an L.A hospital on Monday night and released hours later. Spelling complained of severe stomach pain.

On Tuesday, the "Tori & Dean: Home Sweet Hollywood" television star visited a stomach specialist in order to try and diagnose the cause of her abdominal pain.

The severity of her pain was so bad that Spelling had to pull out of hosting the West Coast Liberty Awards on Tuesday night.

Spelling has been tracking her illness, which is shared by her husband, Dean McDermott, and their children.

McDermott, 42, went to the hospital on the night of the Emmy awards with what he called "a really bad stomach virus."

Daughter Stella, born last June, began throwing up on Thursday. Son Liam, 2, and Stella, 1, both recovered quickly from their pain.

McDermott has said on his Twitter page that "Kids immune systems are amazing, Liam got the flu last night, and now he's fine. Simply amazing."

Spelling has also tweeted and labeled her family's suffering as "The McDermott Family Bug".
