Tori Spelling's Mom calls her daughter into question

Candy Spelling doesn't want to be exploited.

In a recent attempt to expose what Candy Spelling would call her daughter's negligent behavior, the mother of Tori and widow of deceased mega-producer Aaron Spelling has written an open letter stating the dissatisfaction she feels about Tori's exploits on her reality show, "Tori and Dean: Home Sweet Hollywood." Candy Spelling was allegedly invited to her granddaughter's first birthday party as part of Spelling's show, but decided not to go as she felt her grandchildren don't need to have a birthday on television, it being more of a private event, says Entertainment Weekly.

The letter has been leaked onto TMZ.com, where Candy even claimed her daughter was a "middle-aged reality star," according to the Los Angeles Times. The elder Spelling first replied to the email invite of her granddaughter's birthday with a yes, but quickly changed her mind as she formerly stated that any family celebration should be on "home video, not primetime cable." As of yet it, hasn't been seen how Tori Spelling has reacted to the news of the letter.
