'Transformers 2', More of the Same Action
67 General Motors vehicles were used in producing the Transformers sequel, "Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen."
According to USA Today, GM was responsible for building the cars which Michael Bay says his company paid for. He feared they would not get paid back before GM went bankrupt. Once Bay put pressure on GM the check was sent, making Bay smile in relief.
The New Zealand Herald reports, Michael Bay is always entertaining in person and has the swagger of a rock 'n' roll star. He has directed: "The Rock," "Pearl Harbor," "Bad Boys," and "Armageddon," and is considered one of the most commercially successful directors in Hollywood.
In the new Transformers movie, producer Lorenzo di Bonaventura collaborated with Bay and said that Bay does not know his limits. It takes a commander like Bay to coordinate all the chaos on set.
The Herald Sun reports the second installment of Transformers is more of the same stuff from the first film, which grossed almost $1 billion.
