Transformers Star to Appear in 2 Comic Book Films

Megan Fox's career is now heading towards films inspired by comic books.

According to the Hollywood Reporter, the 22-year-old actress will star opposite Josh Brolin and John Malkovich in an action western film, Jonah Hex, which is based on the DC Comics character by the same name. The film will begin shooting in April.

Fox will also star in the film, Fathom, that is based on the comic book created by the late artist Michael Turner. She will play Aspen, who learns she is a member of a race of aquatic humanoids who possess the ability to control water. Fox has been a fan of the comic since its debut in 1998.

She will also receive credit for co-producing the upcoming film along with her former fiance, Brian Austin Green.

This summer, Fox will reprise her role as Mikaela Banes in the sequel, Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen.
