Trent Reznor, lead singer of Nine Inch Nails, announced on the band's website that tonight's show at the Henry Fonda Theater in Los Angeles is canceled. "Illness" was the given reason but the specifics of the cancellation have not been elaborated upon.
According to TMZ, someone close to Reznor said that the singer has been suffering from a cold and a severely clogged ear. The clog was so serious that Reznor couldn't even hear his own voice while performing Thursday night and damaged his vocal cords from unintentionally overcompensating for this handicap.
The show was the third to last date on the band's "Wave Goodbye" tour, which concludes at the Echoplex in L.A. this weekend. The show will be Nine Inch Nails' last show ever.
