The Trump Rule Puts Focus On Looks

An audiotape that was recorded during the pre-show screening of the 2009 "Miss America" pageant has recently been obtained. On the tape, Donald Trump can clearly be heard saying something called "The Trump Rule."

The real estate mogul and NBC Universal currently own the "Miss Universe Organization" which has control of the Miss Universe, Miss Teen USA and Miss USA beauty pageants.

What is the "Trump Rule" you ask? Well Trump claims that when he bought the pageant, the most beautiful women were not picked.

So he executed this rule, which according to TMZ.com, states that "Trump and his staff of professionals would select almost half of the women who would automatically make it into the first round. Also, Trump can be heard asking certain contestants who they thought deserved to rank amongst the most beautiful, insisting "You know when you do this to somebody you make an eternal friend."

Trump explains that this exercise did not matter. Contestants were already chosen before in advance, and said that it was just for fun.
