It's hard not to get sucked into the Showtime drama, The Tudors. Loosely based on the life of King Henry VIII and his infamous bevvy of wives, it also seeks to portray the king (Jonathan Rhys-Meyers) as a very human, charming and intriguing figure.
According to the Hollywood Reporter, the last (fourth) season will be shown next spring, by which time it is assumed that the show will have sped through all of the king's marriages.
Last season, Henry ended his questioned marriage to Anne Boleyn by sending her (and her brother) to the chopping block. At the beginning of this season, he was married to Jane Seymour, who is nearly an opposite of Anne, as she is a noted peacemaker and a quieter, more behind-the-scenes figure.
Fans of history already know how Henry's third marriage will end, but those who are not aware, will soon find out.
Stay tuned to find out about Henry's other marriages . . . and watch The Tudors!
