Tupac and Jam Master Jay May Finally Be Able to Rest In Peace

Police are close to charging Brooklyn inmate connected to rap stars' murders.

According to the Daily News, a Brooklyn inmate has been fingerprinted in connection with the shooting deaths of hip-hop icon, Jam Master Jay and rapper Tupac Shakur, today.

Ronald (Tenad) Washington, 43, told the Boston Herald that he expects to be charged as an accessory to the murder of Run DMC member, Jam Master Jay, whose real name was Jason Mizell, and to the death of Randy (Stretch) Walker, who rapped with Tupac in the early '90s.

Washington stated, "They want to blame me for all the blood in rap...They are trying to pen me up for these murders."

Information about his association with the rap stars surfaced during Washington's federal robbery trial. He was convicted on April 5 of six armed robberies for holdups committed in November 2002, which was only weeks after Mizell was slayed. Still, Washinton denied any involvement with both of the rappers' slayings, commenting, "It's all lies."
