TV PILOT: "Fringe"

My review of the new mystery series, "Fringe."

In my opinion, the creator of Lost could possibly have another hit series in front of him. The sci-fi mystery series, Fringe, stars newcomer Anna Torv and TV and film actor Joshua Jackson. Torv's character, FBI agent Olivia, becomes involved in solving all the strange phenomena happening around her with the help of a mad scientist released from an insane asylum. Jackson is the son of this man and it seems a possible romance could be brewing between him and the smart and sexy agent. With the combo of nonstop mystery and suspense, a potential love story, and interesting twists and turns throughout the study of mind control, teleportation and reanimation, Fringe, may be just as popular as The X Files.

The pilot show introduces us to the gooey, sticky, alien-like tendencies of these victims of chemical exposure with a "be careful what you wish for" sensation for all audience members sitting on the edge of their seats. Olivia goes under a dangerous procedure of extreme drug overdose to connect to the dreams of her past love and colleague to find the man who was responsible for his unusual behavior and transparent skin. Along with this man, an airplane went down with unexplainable reason. Many experiments are in line for this mystery to unfold, and I cannot wait for the next!
