Two More Busy Days for Jack Bauer
Fox network announced today that its hit series 24 will have two more seasons, starring Kiefer Sutherland running against time to stop imminent disasters.
This season 24 has failed to win praise from critics and viewers, but producers have promised to overhaul the show next year. Fox hasn't decided whether 2009 will represent the final season of the show.
The sixth season will end on Monday with a two-hour grand finale. Most comments argue that the show's idea is running out of fresh plots, especially because the main subject is terrorism and after six seasons, viewers became convinced that Bauer himself will always prevail.
"We're re-creating the series," executive producer/showrunner Howard Gordon said. "It is going to be a real-time thriller. Beyond that, it's an open book."
