At the 2011 VMA Awards, rapper Tyler The Creator gave a heartfelt acceptance speech when his name was called as Best New Artist. Okay, just kidding. Unless you were directly in the audience, all you were able to hear was the newfound rapper swearing after every other word. But he didn’t stop there. The 20-year-old went backstage and aimed fire at singer-songwriter Bruno Mars.

"No, I still hate that dude's ****ing music. It was a good performance. I still hate his music,” Tyler said to a reporter about Mars’ previous performance.

It is still unknown as to why Tyler has so much hate towards the “Grenade” singer. In his single “Yonkers”, Tyler took the first punch at Mars saying he would “stab Bruno Mars in his goddamn esophagus/ And won’t stop until the cops come in.”

"Oh dude, I hate that guy (Bruno Mars). Have you seen his face? You don't want to hit him?" said Tyler in a HOT 97 interview.

What do you think? Is Tyler taking it too far?
