Tyra Banks Is Ending Her Talk Show

 

Tyra Banks has announced that she is ending her show this spring. Banks will wrap up the fifth season, and move on to new endeavors. She broke the news to People magazine. Her next career step will be the launch of Bankable Studios in New York.

 

“My next huge steps will allow me to reach more women and young girls to help us all feel as fierce as we truly are,” she said.

 

A source told People that Oprah’s big announcement earlier this year might have been what “gave Tyra the confidence to get out there and follow her longtime dream of film producing.”

 

Warner Bros. has confirmed the news and said that after the show wraps, they will air the “best of” Banks’s show.

“The Tyra Banks Show” has won two Daytime Emmy awards.
