Tyra Banks to Reveal her "REAL hair"

In a release promoting her talk show's upcoming season, Tyra Banks said that she will be "rocking" her "REAL hair" during her show's Sept. 8 premiere. That's right, she wont be donning one of her weaves.

According to Hollyscoop, she said this is all part of "The Tyra Banks Show" "getting more real than ever before." She is even declaring Sept. 8 "National Real Hair Day."

It is all part of encouraging women to "own and rock what they've got and be proud," she said.

An excited Banks also shared the news on her Twitter page.

"Guess What! I'm rockin' my REAL hair on my talk show September 8th," she wrote. "No fake hair at all! Will be the hair coming out of my scalp! For all 2 C!"

The new season of "The Tyra Banks Show" premieres Sept. 8 in its new home on the CW.
