Tyra Banks Will End Television Talk Show in 2010

Tyra Banks will keep hosting and producing the television reality series America's Next Top Model

Tyra Banks television show will end in 2010, reported The Hollywood Reporter.

In spring of 2010 the daytime talk show will end its five year run.

According to Warner Bros. the producer for the “Tyra Banks Show” the show will stop production at the end of the season and during the next season it will only air “The Best of ‘The Tyra banks Show’” on the CW.

Banks will keep producing the “America’s Next Top Model” show.

The show, produced by Warner Bros. Domestic TV Distribution and Telepictures Producers, began in 2005 and won the Daytime Emmy for ‘best informative talk show’ for the past two years.

Banks switched her programming from syndication airing to the CW last fall.

Although popular with a younger audience the show could not compete with bigger hosts including Ellen DeGeneres and Oprah Winfrey.

Currently “Tyra Banks Show” is showing from 3 to 5 p.m. on CW, showing a re-run at 3 p.m. and then a fresh episode at 4 p.m.
