Tyra Says Goodbye to Talk Show
Tyra Banks is saying goodbye to her popular television talk show.
After five years on the air and two Daytime Emmys, Banks will end "The Tyra Show" on the CW after the 2010 season. According to People.com, she will focus on Bankable Studios, her New York-based film production company.
Banks will continue hosting "America's Next Top Model," which begins its fifteenth season in February, and ABC's "True Beauty."
Banks plans to use Bankable Studios to tell the stories of strong women. She has been receiving encouragement from "Precious" director Tyler Perry and fellow talk show host Oprah Winfrey.
Banks told People: “My next huge steps will allow me to reach more women and young girls to help us all feel as fierce as we truly are.”
