U2 Is Back! With Boots!
After five years of the resounding Grammy-winning album, How to Dismantle an Atomic Bomb, everlasting band U2 is coming back with a new album. Not only that, they have provided access to their first single since 2004, "Get On Your Boots," on their official Web site.
According to the Associated Press, the new album, entitled No Line on the Horizon, will be released in Ireland on Feb. 13 and then globally two days later. It will feature 11 new songs which are currently listed on the band's Web site.
Foreseen to become the biggest selling album of 2009, No Line on the Horizon is the band's 12th studio album. It was recorded in New York, London, Dublin and Morocco and took two years to be completed.
U2 also announced that the album will be sold in five different formats, including a limited-issue vinyl LP and a "digipak" edition with rights to download a U2 film, the Associated Press reported.
