Ugly Betty Star a New Mom
Ugly Betty star Ana Ortiz gave birth to a baby girl on Saturday, Access Hollywood reports.
Paloma Louise Lebenzon is the first child for the 38-year-old and her husband, musician Noah Lebenzon. The baby was born at 4:25 p.m. in New York City and weighed 7 lbs., 10 oz.
"She is elated and completely glowing," a representative for the actress told People magazine. "She is surrounded by her friends and family and so happy to be a mom. She is just really enjoying the moment. The baby is absolutely beautiful."
According to the Washington Post, Ortiz's spokesman, Tim Yates, says the family has left the hospital and is back home in Brooklyn.
MSNBC.com reports that Ortiz's "Ugly Betty" cast members have already called and sent gifts to the hospital.
Ortiz plays Betty's older sister, Hilda, on the ABC comedy. She will begin filming the fourth season next month.
