Unresponsive Zsa Zsa Gabor, 93, Rushed to Hospital

93-year-old actress Zsa Zsa Gabor has endured various health complications over the past several weeks, and has been in and out of the hospital on frequent occasion. Earlier today, Gabor was rushed to Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center via ambulance when she was found unresponsive in her home by her husband, Prince Frederic Von Anhalt, the LA Times reports.
Officials from the Los Angeles City Fire Department have stated that they sent one ambulance to the actress’ Bel Air mansion upon receiving a medical aid call from von Anhalt. Before leaving the hospital during her most recent stay at UCLA Medical Center, she asked for a priest to administer her last rites, but she managed to make a recovery.
After undergoing hip replacement surgery in July, Gabor’s condition has methodically deteriorated and it appears that her life is in danger due to the most recent setback. Her publicist, John Blanchette, told PopEater.com that she has “pretty much been bedridden and wheelchair-bound for the last eight years.”
Upon being released from the hospital after a four-week stay in mid-August, Gabor stated that she wanted to spend her final days at home. When blood clots developed and she was required to return to UCLA Medical Center just two days after her release, the 93-year-old declined any more procedures, according to Fox News.
